I’ve been following the events in Japan and I can truly say that never before have I felt so utterly helpless. Some of the posts on Tumblr seem to be directed at allocating blame. Surely, if we truly care about the plight and the welfare of the Japanese as fellow human beings, we should be putting aside the sniping and bitching. Stop bleating and do something useful to help those in need. Imagine what it must be like to lose everything. Your home, family, even your town, everything just swept away as if it never existed. We need to support Japan and the people caught up in this disaster not send in the lynch mob.

New at all this and I don’t have a clue what I’m doing….still, I’ll see what happens next and console myself with the fact that it’s nearly time for a good read.
